Student Policy and Information Form

Attendance Policy

Skybridge requires that all students attend 100% of the course in which they are enrolled before a certificate of completion can be issued. Skybridge recognizes that extenuating circumstances may arise that would take a student out of class and has implemented the following policy to handle those situations.

Make-up time is not permitted for all scaffold courses.  Students who miss one or more sessions of any course must reschedule and attend the full training course.

Language Comprehension

Students are required to fully understand the language the course is being presented in.  If students do not read or write in the language, the student must approach a member of Skybridge administration BEFORE the first class break to discuss available options.

Classroom Policies

Cell phones are to be turned off or put on silent/vibrate mode upon entry to classroom. Students are allowed to step outside of classroom to designed areas during the class for emergency use only. Otherwise, all calls are to be made during approved break times only.

Conduct

Students who are being disrespectful, inattentive, disruptive or are caught sleeping during training will be removed from the premises and will not be eligible for refund. It will be the responsibility of the student to contact the skybridge training department to register for another scheduled event.

Weather Emergency
Skybridge will monitor conditions that may disrupt training activities. If conditions warrant, the training director will make the decision to cancel or postpone the start time for classes at skybridge locations. Skybridge notify the media of any class cancellations or closing. Contact the office at 718-808-5553 for information concerning class cancellation or location closing.
